Over the years, I've amassed a ton of zip disks that I've been saving my beats on that were made on the MPC 2000 XL. With "Diskontinued", I wanted to showcase some of my favorite older beats that have not been featured on any of my instrumental projects. Some of these tracks were songs recorded by various artists (including myself and my former crew) that were either unreleased or released in a limited capacity.

"Diskontinued" is obviously a play on the word discontinued, and the meaning behind it is simply that these are all saved on old zip disks, so I wanted to archive these joints before the disks go bad. The time period these tracks were created falls somewhere in between "Beats by N/A Volume One" and the "Do The Right Thing" EP. I hope you dig the sounds!
