This is the very first beat tape I put out circa 2005, including the original artwork that I made with a CD cover kit from Staples and the red marker to cross out the keyboard, as I was very much against keyboard beats back then.

I used to have copies of this CD on deck when I went to the infamous Project Blowed open mic workshop on Thursday nights in Leimert Park with Tha E.M.S. (an ill MC that's featured on Tha Lepht Field's Do The Right Thing EP, which can also be found in my discography here).

Using the Akai MPC 2000 sampler without the memory expansion (only 22 seconds of sampling time in mono), this album would be the first of many to come through the years. If you follow my music, you may notice that some of these samples were flipped again on other projects.

Unfortunately, I no longer have the floppy disks that I saved these beats on, so the CD rip is all I have left of these tracks.I made this for free download, but if you would like to donate to the cause, it is always welcomed and much appreciated.
